1991 (late) -1992 Camaro and Firebird Striker Sensing Switch for Hatch Pull Down Assembly
Pull down Assembly Striker Sensing Switch. No longer produced or available from GM.
This switch mounts on the back side of the latch on the Pull down (see image 2 above).
Its function of the switch is to sense the presence of the hatch hook, and power the unit down. It works in conjunction with the 1991-92 Reversing Switch.
Application: 1991 (late) -92 Camaro and Firebird with this type Pull down assembly shown above.
This is the specific switch for this Pull down. GM made several variation of this switch that look the same, but will not work.
