1990-92 Chevy Camaro Speedometer Circuit Board. Repair Service

1. Send your circuit board for repair and testing. Do not include the entire gauge cluster or speedometer.
2. Upon receipt, we’ll repair and test your circuit board within 2 business days.
3. The service covers all parts and labor, including replacement of capacitors, diodes, resistors, and, if necessary, the crystal oscillator and odometer driver IC.
4. Your order will come with a comprehensive repair report.
5. If your circuit board is irreparable, we’ll return it and refund your payment, deducting a $25.00 handling fee. We cover all other costs (parts and labor).
6. Your only risk is the shipping cost and a $25.00 handling fee if the circuit board is irreparable.

Most circuit boards sent for service are successfully repaired. We upgrade and replace components such as resistors, diodes, capacitors, and, if necessary, the crystal oscillator and odometer driver IC. However, certain proprietary components and their firmware may be unavailable for replacement.

Speedometer issues can stem from various sources, with the Speedometer circuit board being the most prevalent. However, a proper system diagnosis is crucial to confirm the circuit board as the issue. This board is situated in the gauge cluster adjacent to the speedometer.

2. What happens if my board is irreparable? If so, it will be returned and your payment refunded, minus a $25 handling fee.

3. How is this service offered without a diagnostic fee for irreparable boards? Most of the circuit boards we receive are successfully repaired.

4. Can you assist in self-repair?  We don’t provide repair consulting, we do offer blog posts and a DIY repair kit.

5. Do you offer a DIY repair kit? Yes, a "do it yourself repair kit" is available.

6. Can you repair a board damaged during self-repair? It may be repairable, but the likelihood decreases if damage occurred during self-repair.
   

7. Is the whole gauge cluster needed for repair? No, only the circuit board is required.
